Brown Fire: The bosque/grass fire southeast of Socorro has burned an estimated 175 acres. Local, state, and federal resources continue to hold the line and reportedly have contained approximately 30% of the fire. Smoke is still expected to persist for several days.

Hay Vega Fire: Resources anticipate complete containment of the fire this evening. Unless there are significant changes in fire behavior, this will be the final notification.

Moon Mountain Fire: Resources have been able to hold containment lines on the fire near Ruidoso in Lincoln County, despite Red Flag conditions. The fire is reportedly 40% contained. Due to additional mapping, the acreage burned is now at estimated at 125 acres. All school closures are now lifted.

Unnamed Fire in San Miguel County: A grass fire has burned about 500 acres east of Las Vegas and north of Highway 104, in San Miguel County. Five structures are reportedly threatened. Multiple local and state resources have responded. No additional information has been reported.
