State Line Fire: A site survey conducted by the air attack resources from Alamogordo have re-assessed the size of the grass fire in Roosevelt County. It is estimated at 1,000 acres, a considerable decrease from previous reports. Air attack resources are directing the ground crews' fire suppression activities. Efforts to stop the fire's forward progress continue to advance. Approximately 15-20 engines are on site. Local road graders are also being used at the incident. No structures are threatened.

Conchas Ranch Fire: The grass fire near Highway 104 in San Miguel County has burned approximately 1,800 acres. It remains at 50% containment. The fire is active on the southwest side where engines' access is limited. Resources are making progress with cutting a direct line. Five engines are on site. No structures are threatened.
