Seedboat Gallery was host to a series of seminars on Friday and Saturday as a part of the celebration of Trail Days. One of the presenters was Renee Patrick, a 2015 CDT Trail Ambassador. Patrick, also known by her trail name of She-Ra, talked about her 160-day solo through-hike last year.
She has the Triple Crown, having hiked the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail. Patrick said in 2015, 3,000 people through-hiked the Appalachian Trail, 2,000 the Pacific Crest, and only 240 through-hiked the CDT.
She blogs about her hikes at Sherahikes.wordpress.com.
