Albuquerque, NM - Today around 3:00 p.m., New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau agents located Angelica Garcia and Angelo Jaramillo at the America's Best Value Inn near Juan Tabo and Interstate 40 in Albuquerque, NM. The agents learned through interviews and investigative leads where Ms. Garcia was possibly located and encountered her walking in the hotel parking lot away from the vehicle observed on surveillance.

When agents encountered Ms. Garcia she attempted to conceal her identity, but later admitted to being Angelica Garcia. She was arrested and taken into custody without incident. Agents later attempted to interview Ms. Garcia but she refused to give a statement.

At the time of Ms. Garcia's arrest Angelo was sitting inside the above mentioned vehicle in the hotel parking lot and was observed by State Police agents. Angelo was medically cleared at the scene and later reunited with his father and family members.

The male observed with Ms. Garcia on surveillance video was present at the scene of the hotel. He was interviewed at the scene and released.

Ms. Garcia is charged with one count of Custodial Interference, a forth degree felony. She will be booked into the Sandoval County Detention Center.
