Students and staff from Aldo Leopold Charter School placed throughout the top ranks of their age categories in this year's Tour of the Gila citizens' races.

In Saturday's Criterium race freshman, Zeb Trujillo won first place in the boys 13-16 category and overall. Virginnia Burgess, a tenth grader, took first place in the girls 13-16 category and second place overall.

Ninth-graders, Gayla Lacy and Nathaniel Woodruff, took second place in the girls and boys 13-16 category respectively.

And third place in that age group went to 9th grader, Izabela Chase for the girls and sophomore, Josiah Guck for the boys.
