QUEMADO, NM; May 22, 2016 - For Immediate Release - Firefighters are on scene of the Spur Fire on the Quemado Ranger District. The 18-acre fire is lightning-caused and six miles northeast of Luna. Resources on the incident include an engine and a crew. They report a surface fire with flame lengths of less than one foot burning in ponderosa pine.
