Magdalena, NM; May 25, 2016 - The Magdalena Ranger District Type 3 Incident Management Team lead by IC Mike Smith and IC Trainee Manuel Martinez would like to invite the communities surrounding the Magdalena Ranger District to participate in a Community Meeting, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Magdalena High School Fine Arts Center, Magdalena, NM. The Community Meeting will give the surrounding communities a wildland fire update on the North Fire, located in the San Mateo Mountains, 25 miles southwest of Magdalena, NM. The Magdalena Ranger District Type 3 Incident Management Team will be available after the meeting to meet with area residents.
