Today, Friday, June 17, Silver City Police Chief Ed Reynolds stated that a final report involving 6th Judicial District Attorney Francesca Estevez and her alleged erratic driving would not be available until his department's investigation into the incident is concluded. Reynolds said they have 30 days within which to complete the investigation.

Estevez told Grant County Beat Editor Mary Alice Murphy the erratic driving was the result of tire failure. Estevez was later met by SCPD officers where she had parked at the Office of Sustainability on Pope Street.
