Photographer Dave Schuhmann said the contractors have begun ripping apart the large west wing, the only remaining structure of the hospital complex. It will probably be completely demolished by Friday. On Wednesday, they were working on the south end of the building.
Sad but true to realize a big piece of Grant County history is just about history itself.
