The Town of Hurley held its regular meeting on June 14, 2016 at 5 p.m.

The Hurley Pride report included a report on the final bills being paid and that they were able to trade some services for sponsorships that saved them money. Out of their $2,367 budget, they only spent $1,271.78. They are looking into some research for a cover for the playground equipment. They stated the research was pretty intensive and would be easier with grant money for a solar cover, which is expensive. They would also ask the city of Deming about their canopies in their search for the playground cover.

The pride also wanted to give out free hot dogs and drinks to the kids at the free pool day June 21, 2016, pending that the pool passed all of the inspections. They asked the Town about the Hurley Pool hours. The Town stated the hours of the pool would be from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. The admission fee will be $2.50.

There was also discussion on the horse and trolley from the fiesta, port-o-potties for future events, and a hold on the lodgerG
