Airport Fire: An estimated 1,000 acres of unknown land ownership burned in Quay County. Local resources responded to the fire. It is 100% contained. Unless there is a significant change to the fire's size or behavior, this will be the final notification.

Black Fire: This lightning-caused fire in the Gila National Forest near Silver City has burned approximately 50 acres. Multiple resources have responded. It will be managed by a Type III team.

Clavel Fire (Mitchell Fire): The fire formerly known as G

Cooney Fire: This fire has burned approximately 200 acres in the Gila National Forest. The fire is being managed for multiple resource benefits.

Eggert Fire: Approximate 5-7 acres of private land burned near mile marker 56 on Hwy. 120. The fire was caused by lightning last evening. Temperate weather overnight diminished the fire, but it has grown since late afternoon. Multiple resources have responded and are continuing fire suppression activities.

Independence Fire: This fire in the Carson National Forest has burned approximately 22 acres. It is 90% contained. Federal resources are continuing to monitor the site. Unless there is a significant change to the fire's size or activity, this will be the final notification.

Kline Fire: This fire has burned approximately 20 acres of land in the changes Gila National Forest. The fire is being managed for multiple resource benefits.

Shooting Range Fire: Lightning has caused dual fire starts on private land located approximately two miles east of Capitan in Lincoln County. The size of the combined fire activity is unknown. Multiple resources, including Inmate Work Camp crews, have responded and are engaged in fire suppression activities.
