At its July 12 meeting, The Silver City Town Council heard from Town Manager Alex Brown that the repaving project on Little Walnut Road in the vicinity of Chavez Lane that started on Monday, July 11, should be completed on Wednesday, July 13.

Brown also said that the drainage improvement project at Vista de Plata Subdivision, including new curbs, gutters, sidewalks and streets, is well on its way to completion. This project will connect 10th Street with Kelly Street.

In Public Input, speakers asked council to repair loose bricks around two trees at the Silver City Museum for safer seating; and expressed views involving the dangers of fluoride in town drinking water.
