Some members of the Las Cruces Society for Creative Anachronism joined their Silver City friends in Gough Park Saturday evening for SCA fighter practice. This group, known as Heavy Fighters, wears steel and leather armor and uses pole arms. The fighters exchanged tips and participated in both melees and one-on-one fights.
