The Village of Santa Clara held its rescheduled regular meeting on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2 p.m.

Mayor Pro-Tem Albert Esparza presented the Safety Committee report at the meeting. He stated there was not much to report concerning the Safety Committee. Esparza explained there have been no incidents, training is currently happening and there is a plan for more training to occur in the future.

Trustee Olga Amador presented the Action Committee report. The committee had a few events it would participate in. The committee voted on the four beautiful houses in the village. They participated in a bike run with neighborhood watch. Amador stated at the meeting they would be trying to push for vendors at the event. Amador also stated the music in the park events the committee has been doing, have been doing pretty well. The committee also participated in the fundraiser for a Silver City police officer that has a major brain injury and cancer.

Trustee Richard Esparza, in the cemetery report, stated a visitor from clean and beautiful project liked the cemetery and all the improvements that have been done.
