The Town of Hurley held its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 5 p.m. All members of the council were present for the meeting.

The Hurley Pride report included the full estimate for a pool cover. The Pride presented to the council that they could meet to seek ways of procuring a winter cover for the pool as well as a summer cover for the pool. The Pride stated October would be highway clean up. The Pride will also be setting dates to repair the ornaments for the posts.

Under Engineer's Inc. report, George Esqueda stated to the council that Engineers Inc. had combined with Occam, a business in Albuquerque, and the new name for the company is Occam Engineers Inc. Esqueda stated the company will hopefully provide more services.
