This week at the Silver City Public Library is Friends of the Library Week. During the regular Tuesday Storytime, Becky Nell Young, who is also a member of the Southwest Festival of the Written Word, presented a version of Goldilocks with props on a felt board. Friends of the Library raise money for the library, through their quarterly book sales and their ongoing in-library sales. Your membership helps the library and your volunteerism helps the Friends raise even more money for the library and its programs. Young said: "SWFWW supports literacy for children and my volunteerism in the Library reflects that commitment."
