The Old Hurley Store hosted a Pumpkin Patch on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21 and 22. The benefit raised funds for the Hurley Pride Committee, which sponsors events throughout the year in Hurley at the park, for Christmas decorations and a decorations contest, among others.

On Friday, El Grito Headstart brought more than 90 students and teachers and parents to the event. Hurley Elementary Pre-Kindergarten students also visited the pumpkin patch.

Donors paid for the games and many of the pumpkins. Diaz Farms donated 150 pumpkins, and more than 150 more were purchased.
