Four entities came together to sign a joint agreement and to equally split costs for a camera and tower to be placed on top of W Mountain to show Silver City live from the north.

Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 25, representatives from Silver City Radio, Western New Mexico University, the town of Silver City and the county of Grant signed the paperwork at City Hall.

Three of the entities agreed to split the costs for the tower to show off Silver City. Silver City Radio is providing the camera.

The camera will go live Nov. 1 and viewers can see the livestream at livefromsilver.com.
