According to reports at the two convenience centers in Silver City'the Grant County Administration Center and the Woman's Club, turnout was steady all morning. Both venues reported long lines when they opened at 7 a.m.

At 10:40, the Grant County Administration Center reported 250 voters, with a number of people coming in to vote and leaving after voting, with no long lines.

At 10:51 at the Woman's Club, the polling center judge reported a lull, but it had seen 437 voters up to that time.
