The 2016 election results are in and the Gila Regional Mill Levy did not pass. What does this mean for Grant County and the future of the hospital?

GǣWe will continue to be here and deliver great quality care to our community and the people we serve,Gǥ stated CEO Brian Cunningham. GǣI also wanted to personally thank all of Grant County and the different groups and organizations that we spoke to for their consideration of the Mill Levy and for the support of this request. Gila Regional is not closing its doors because of the election results and we will continue to do the best work possible to keep our 4-Star Quality Care, close to home, which was the intent of the Mill Levy from the beginning."

In previous interviews with Cunningham, the Mill Levy was always referred to as a piece of the puzzle in solving the financial challenges in the healthcare industry. Cunningham assures Grant County that the next steps for Gila Regional will be taken with careful consideration and thoughtfulness as they move forward beyond the 2016 election.
