Silver City, NM, November 18, 2016'The Gila National Forest is excited to announce a new Public Affairs Officer has joined the forest.

Marta Call was recently selected as the Gila NF's Public Affairs Officer with a report date of November 14. She joined us from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in Springerville, Arizona. She has worked for the Forest Service for three years; and prior to that worked for the Bureau of Land Management - Utah in Vernal, Utah and served in the U.S. Army.
