According to Debbie Nennich, who with her husband, Jim, own W&N Enterprises in Silver City, the "Time for Sharing" annual event on a Sunday before Thanksgiving, fed 1301 people this year at their 13th hosting of the dinner.

She said the number dropped from last year, and the last food was served at 3:50.

Every year, the Nennichs offer the Thanksgiving meal to community members at no cost to thank them for supporting their businesses, which include the Food Baskets, the Snappy Marts, The Beverage Company, Wrangler's and TGI Yogurt.

The Gospel Mission received the leftover food.
