The Western New Mexico University fall graduation took place Friday afternoon, Dec. 9, 2016,at the Fine Arts Center Theatre.
More than 200 graduates took part in the ceremony and received their diplomas after years of hard work. Probably the happiest was a 96-year-old World War II veteran Marine'Leonard Pritikin'who received an honorary bachelor's degree to fulfill his one lifetime regret, not having received a college degree.
