January 2, 2017 - The First Baby in Grant County for 2017 has been born at Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC). Galilea Alvarez came to this world at 12:12 AM on January 2nd, 2017. She was 8.15 lbs, seen here held by her mom, Erika Alvarez. Also pictured is her proud big brother, Sebastian Alvarez and her father, Jos+ Erika and the family traveled from Deming, NM to have Galilea at GRMC. When asked why they chose Gila Regional, Erika replied, "Gila Regional is an awesome hospital."
