After not holding a December meeting, the Aldo Leopold Charter School Governing Council met again on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. Ken Stone, Dale Lane, Mary Gruszka, Shauna McCosh and David Peck, Chairman, were present. Giving students a break, it moved the Student Council report and The Transition Town presentation to the head of the agenda.

The student report was that sophomores were working on a fundraiser; juniors had started plans for the prom and seniors were focused on their trips. Mayor Ken Ladner has said he would like to get the two student councils, Aldo and Silver, together to search for community solutions in the near future, probably in early March.
