The Silver City Museum had its grand re-opening celebration Saturday, March 18, 2017. Visitors were able to see the restored floors, the new entry, new Museum Store area and activity area as well as other areas of the museum. The staff and volunteers are gearing up for the museum's 50th anniversary, and will be opening a new exhibit, Gǣ50 Years Ago in Silver CityGǥ on May 19. They are also trying to raise $50,000 to repair the roof. You can find out more about what's going on at the museum at www.silvercitymuseumsociety.org .
