In the financial expenditure report at the Grant County Commission work session, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, Financial Officer Linda Vasquez said the total expenditures from Feb. 10, 2017 through March 10, 2017, equaled $2,771,721.73.

The payments included payroll checks for two pay periods for a total of $404,440.57. Checks of larger amounts include the January 2017 fuel charges to Wright Express Fleet Services for $21,917.64; North Hurley Road construction Colonias Project to Morrow Enterprises Inc. for $50,083.63; off road diesel for road department equipment to fuel Center Plus for $17,318.11; for 2017 insurance coverage contributions for multi-line and law enforcement liability to New Mexico Insurance Authority for $660,530; final payment for Forgotten Veterans Memorial at Bataan Park to Sacaton Construction for $24,169.57; for fire truck for the Fort Bayard Volunteer Fire Department to Siddons Martin Emergency Group for $220,091; for three roof top air-conditioning units for the Courthouse to Cooperative Educational Services for $92,029.84; for January, February and March 2017 medical management services at the Detention Center to HCP Systems for $51,993; and for engineering services for North Hurley Colonias project, Rosedale Road and Tyrone Colonias project to Occam Engineering Inc. for $46,927.66.

Under new business, commissioners will issue three proclamationsG
