The Grant County Sheriff's Department is actively investigating a death that occurred yesterday at 210 North Bellm Street in Santa Clara, New Mexico.

On April 19, 2017, just after 2:00 a.m., Grant County Sheriff's Department deputies were dispatched to 210 North Bellm Street in Santa Clara in reference to an unresponsive 32-year-old female. First Responders and EMS arrived on scene just prior to Deputies and began to render first aid and CPR. The female was transported to Gila Reginal Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

Detectives from the Grant County SheriffGÇÖs Department responded to continue the investigation. Witnesses were interviewed and a search warrant was executed at the residence that morning. Investigation is ongoing.

The deceased female has been identified as Angela Arellin (32 YOA/Santa Clara, New Mexico). Next of kin has been notified.
