Warrant Roundup

Location: Silver City, New Mexico

Narrative:

On April 26 and 27, 2017, the Silver City Police Department, Grant County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations conducted a warrant roundup in Grant County. There were a total of 28 officers involved on both evenings of the operation. Homeland Security provided grant funding which paid for the overtime for the warrant roundup. Homeland Security, whose interest is in keeping communities safe, provides funding to local departments to assist in serving felony warrants. This partnership is of tremendous value to our community.

 

There were a total of 18 warrants earmarked to be served. 12 warrants were served out of the 18 during the roundup. Three persons appeared in Magistrate Court prior to officers having contact with them. One turned himself in at the Police Department on May 1, 2017. As of this release, there are two persons still wanted on warrants. In addition, there were five additional persons arrested for various warrants during the roundup.

1. *Joshua Padilla, 24 years of age, Silver City, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine
2. *Tyler Lantz, 33 years of age, Grant County, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine
3. *Roman Vasquez, 40 years of age, Silver City, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
4. *Mercedes Featheringill, 29 years of age, Silver City, 9 Cts. of Conspiracy to commit Trafficking of a Controlled Substance, to wit: nine counts were for methamphetamine and heroin
5. *Anthony Roybal, 38 years of age, Silver City, Possession of Methamphetamine
6. *Barbara Salazar, 41 years of age, Silver City, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
7. *Rudy Padilla, 58 years of age, Silver City, (2 Warrants) Trafficking a controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana
8. *Cody Stagner, 22 years of age, Silver City, (2 warrants) Conspiracy to commit Harboring or Aiding a Felon, Harboring or Aiding a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine
9. *Margaret Dominguez, 34 years of age, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine
10. *Eric Rivers 35 years of age, Rodeo, NM, Aggravated Burglary, Larceny, Larceny of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
11. Rodney Chavez, 23 years of age, Grant County, Failure to Pay (Disorderly Conduct), Failure to Pay (False Imprisonment and Battery)
12. Iesha Morales, 25 years of age, Silver City, Failure to Pay (Larceny), Driving while License is Revoked DWI related
13. Ashley Morales, 26 years of age, Silver City, Failure to Appear (Burglary), 2 additional warrants for Failure to Appear
14. Elias Andazola, 20 years of age, Failure to Appear (Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
15. Rogelio Cano, 34 years of age, Bayard, NM, 4 warrants for Failure to Appear (Animal related)

1. *Pete Evens, 33 years of age, Silver City, Transportation or Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Acetaminophen Hydrocodone bitrate, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
2. *David Vega Jr, 29 years of age, Silver City, Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
3. *Jesus Pedragon, 20 years of age, Silver City, Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
