...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

* VISIBILITY...Below 1 mile in valley locations in western Sierra
County and northern Grant County mainly in the morning hours. Otherwise 2 to 3 miles across the advised area.

* IMPACTS...Breathing difficulties will be likely when outdoors,
especially with persons having chronic lung problems. Also
motorists will have difficulty seeing the road in the areas
with the thickest smoke.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Smoke Advisory means widespread fires will create smoke,
limiting visibilities. If driving, slow down, use your
headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a
sudden stop is needed. Outdoor activities are discouraged due to
poor air quality.
