Sunday Red Dot Red Hot Fashion Show 100817

The Red Hot! Red Dot! Artfest Fashion show took place at Seedboat Gallery on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2017. Organized by the Silver City Art Association, and especially, Julie Enos, the event was full with about 200 people attending. Champagne and chocolates were the treat of the afternoon. 

Enos became one of the stars of the show, when her partner, Othy Aldrich, who also served as one of the announcers, said he had called her parents that morning and asked for Julie's hand in marriage. He went down on bended knee to present her engagement ring, which had belonged to her grandmother. 

The show proceeded as planned, with 42 fashions designed by artists from the area and modeled by the artists themselves in some cases and by models in other cases. Several of the fashions came from Patsy Madrid's Vintage Fantasies.
