The Village of Santa Clara provided a good time for local families with a Trunk or Treat event at the City Hall, followed by a Haunted House and Carnival at the Santa Clara Armory. Youngsters went from car to car, showing off their costumes and picking up candy.
Later at the Armory, familiess could tour the Haunted House and then attend the carnival, playing games like Go Fish, Bowling, Ring Toss, Corn hole and more. There was even a cakewalk. Four local groups, the Santa Clara Action Committee, Neighborhood Watch, the Santa Clara Historical Committed and the Santa Clara Cemetery Committee, sponsored the events. Lots of volunteers made sure that a good time was had by all. And they had lots of fun themselves.
