Some of the sights to be seen on a nippy November night.

Hundreds of people lined Broadway and Bullard Streets in downtown Silver City Saturday night to watch the annual Lighted Christmas Parade, themed “Hometown Holidays.” Before the parade, vendors strolled the streets, offering all kinds of lighted toys for children to enjoy, and families sat on the curbs drinking hot chocolate and waving their own lights. Then, as the streetlights dimmed, a gasp and a cheer filled the chilly air, and the parade began.

And the winners are!
