On January 7, 2018, at about 5:25 p.m. officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to the 4000 Block of Fran Drive in reference to an Aggravated Burglary complaint.

Upon arrival officers were informed by the victim that sometime between December 19, 2017 and January 7, 2018, unknown person(s) entered his residence and took tools and 10 firearms.

The tools taken are two Dewalt saws and two Dewalt nail guns. The weapons taken are handguns and rifles. (not a complete list at the time of release)

4. Remington Model 700 ADL .30-06 Rifle
5. Brazil Cartuchos Model SB 20 Ga. Shotgun
6. Winchester Model 1200 12 Ga. Shotgun
7. Ruger Blackhawk .41 mag Revolver

Total theft approximately $3000. The investigation is continuing into this incident.
