Location: Glenwood Ranger District, in the San Francisco Breaks. Legal Description T12S, R21W, Section 25.

Size: ~120 acres

Cause: Lightning

Vegetation: Piñon juniper and grass

Resources: Fire being held with minimal spread potential. Reducing staffing and will be monitored by air beginning tomorrow.

Containment: 80%

Spring Fire

Location: Glenwood Ranger District, approximately 5 miles NW of Alma, NM. Legal Description T10S, R21W, Section 31.

Start Date: June 7, 2018

Size: .10 acre

Cause: Lightning

Vegetation: Piñon juniper and grass

Resources: FS Engines, Full suppression strategy

Containment: 100%

Round Fire

Location: Glenwood Ranger District, west of Alma, NM. Legal Description T10S, R21W, Section 27.

Start Date: June 7, 2018

Size: .25 acre

Cause: Lightning

Vegetation: Piñon juniper and grass

Resources: Forest Service Engine. Full suppression strategy

Containment: 100%

Summary: These three fires began on National Forest Systems lands on the Glenwood Ranger District, Gila National Forest. Round Fire and Spring Fire had crews on today ensuring that all hot spots were extinguished.
