General Information: The Willow Fire, is burning on National Forest System lands, on Glenwood Ranger District in Catron County, NM. It is on Willow Mountain and in the headwaters of Willow Creek. The fire has crossed Crest Trail #182. The fire is burning in the Whitewater-Baldy Fire scar (2012) in heavy dead and downed fuels. The majority of the fire perimeter is in the Gila Wilderness. Area Closures are in effect.

Fire Operations: The fire continues to grow slowly with moderate fire behavior. Perimeter growth on Tuesday was primarily to the south up Willow Mountain with only about 50-75 acres change in size.
