General Information: The Noland Fire was discovered on September 7 burning in timber and grass at approximately 3 acres.

Fire Operations: The fire has transitioned to an ICT4. There are two type 6 engines, one hot shot crew, and two small handcrew modules on the fire monitoring and assessing and protecting values at risk.

Fire Behavior: The fire is burning on the ground and consuming heavy fuels. During the burn period, short runs in the grass are noticeable. Fire behavior is minimal.

Weather: Light precipitation was received on the fire over the weekend, but there will be a drying period over the next few days.

Smoke: Smoke settles in drainages and washes and begins drifting about 9:00 p.m. and peaking at 6:00 a.m., when they become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Smoke-sensitive individuals and people with respiratory or heart disease are encouraged to take precautionary measures such as leaving windows closed.
