Rudick Spirit of Christmas award with Ward A. Rudick being the first recipient. Mr. Rudick was instrumental in getting all of the decorations together this year. Starting in April with planning, by summer Rudick was directing teams of volunteers to string new lights on the garlands for downtown. Rudick also decorated a number of businesses and The Hub, making downtown very festive and a joy for children and families to see, states Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet.

Downtown Silver City is family friendly and festive and we encourage everyone to come and stroll downtown day or evening to see the lights and windows. It’s a fun activity to do with out-of-town guests.”
