Silver City MainStreet Project is hosting an Asset Quilting Get Together on Tuesday, March 20 at 5:00 at the Silco Theater. The Get Together is open to anyone interested in working to improve the economy in Grant County. Please invite others that you think might be interested in this networking opportunity.

Nadine Robele will give a presentation about the Grant County NM Entrepreneurial Spirit Networking website, called “Grant County Assets”.   Find out how you can use this free on-line community website to network and find others also interested in creating and growing businesses and jobs in Grant County. Only want to network with others in a specific area of pursuit - learn about subgroups on the website, such as “Food Economy”, “Tourism”, “Art”, “Digital Media” or “Local Funding and Investing”. See how this website, hosted by www.bigtent.com, provides us easy group communication - have discussions, share files, post news & events of interest to the group.   You can even see the assets (knowledge, experience, business, etc.) other members bring to the community.

We will also have an opportunity to share the projects that we are working on to improve the economy in Grant County. Through networking we can strengthen collaboration and reduce duplication of efforts.
