According to a report in the Deming Headlight at https://www.demingheadlight.com/story/news/immigration/2019/03/25/el-paso-area-border-patrol-checkpoints-temporally-closed-due-migrant-influx/3267831002/?cid=facebook_The_Deming_Headlight  the following checkpoints are temporarily closed to let officials deal with the migrants seeking asylum at the ports of entry and to address those crossing illegally in desert areas.

Checkpoints in the El Paso Sector include:

U.S. Highway 62/180 about 30 miles east of El Paso in Hudspeth County
I-10 West - located 22 miles west of Las Cruces on Interstate 10
I-25 North - located 23 miles north of Las Cruces on Interstate 25
U.S. 70 East - located 15 miles southwest of Alamogordo on U.S. Route 70
US Route 54 - located 30 miles south of Alamogordo
New Mexico Highway 11 - located 22.6 miles south of Deming on NM Hwy 11
New Mexico Highway 185 - located 13 miles northwest of Radium Springs
