Roaring Fire

Location: approximately ½ mile southwest of Bishop Peak

Start Date: June 5, 2019 Size: ~17.5 acres Cause: Lightning

Vegetation: Continuous ponderosa pine

Resources: two Type 6 engines, Gila IHC, Escondido Wildland Fire Module

Incident Commander: G. Castanon Strategy: Confine and contain

Summary:

The Reynolds Fire and the Roaring Fire on burning on National Forest System lands on the Quemado Ranger District, Gila National Forest.
