People gathered from all around the country at Spaceport America on June 20, 2019, to see rocketeers launch their rockets.

There was a lot of excitement for all the rocketeers, many who were international, as they launched their rockets and to see all the year-long work they put into their rockets pay off. All the students have worked their rockets for months. However, not all of the launches were successful.

Family and friends were also excited to see the rockets launch. Every time a rocket would launch, the crowd and rocketeers would step out from under their tents to watch the rockets in the air.

It was a hot day, but winds began to pick up throughout the day, which would not be ideal weather to launch rockets. The rocketeers would need to assemble their rockets quickly before the winds would become worse, and some would not be able to launch on that day.

The schedule of the launches depended on when rockets were assembled and ready to go. A lot of teams prepared their rockets for launching throughout the day. The rockets were judged based on how well the rocket held together after the launch. Which means that each part of the rocket had to be found and obtained after the launch.
