And the winning picture is…
Saturday afternoon was a time to get dressed up and have fun and also to help raise funds for Silver City MainStreet’s Holiday decorations.
People of all ages went to Vintage Fantasies, selected a gown and volunteers helped them select accessories to wear while posing for the camera. George Austin, formerly of Silver Portrait Studios, took the pictures and let the “fashion models” pick their favorite.
The portraits were $20 for a 5 x 7 print, and for an additional $5, a digital print would be emailed to them. Donna Schaeffer, one of the volunteers, said that by 3:00 they had had 18 patrons and that 16 more had signed up and were expected shortly.
