Editor's Note:  The Beat has been unable to confirm whether there are any evacuation notices in effect.

This is information I got off the Catron County Connection website. The blogmaster has also been unable to get any official information:

The Whitewater-Baldy burn scar area was forecast to receive quite a bit of rain this afternoon, almost guaranteeing downstream flooding, and at 2:22 PM MDT today National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated areas of heavy rain over the burn scar. Flood advisories were put out by the National Weather Service at that time for:

Hwy 180 bridge at Alma over Mineral Creek
NM 159
Mogollon and Silver Creek
The Catwalk
State Road 174
Hwy 180 bridge at Glenwood over Whitewater Creek and the fish hatchery
Hwy 180 over Holt Gulch in Pleasanton
State Road 435
The Middle and West Forks of the Gila River
The Gila Cliff Dwellings and State Road 15
Loco Mountain Road
Forest Road 142

NWS Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until Wednesday evening.
