Truth or Consequences, NM; August 9, 2012; 6:30 p.m.--A small fire named the Cave Creek Fire was reported at 3:00 p.m. today on the Gila National Forest. Firefighters from the Black Range Ranger District and Wilderness Ranger District have been dispatched this evening to conduct full suppression. Additional firefighters will be dispatched tomorrow morning.
 
Location: on the southeast corner of the Aldo Leopold Wilderness and seven miles north of the Community of Kingston; location of Kingston is along N.M. State Highway 152 (locally known as the Black Range Road)

Cause: Lightning-caused
