Dr. Victor Nwachuku
 
The Gila Regional Medical Staff held their election of officers at the General Medical Staff meeting on December 11th.  The 2013 officers will be: Chief of Staff - Dr. Victor Nwachuku, Vice Chief of Staff - Dr. Nathan Williams, and Secretary/Treasurer of Staff - Dr. Amos Lash.
 
This will be the second term for Dr. Nwachuku, who has been a member of the medical staff since 2000. He works as an OB/GYN physician at Cassie Health Center for Women. Dr. Williams is an Anesthesiologist here at GRMC and has been in New Mexico for a number of years and a member of the medical staff since 2005. Dr. Lash has been a member of the medical staff since 2009 and is the Urologist for our community. This will be a second term for Dr. Lash also.

The medical staff at Gila Regional represents a broad scope of services and includes anesthesiologists, a dermatologist, emergency medicine, family practice, internal medicine, OB/GYNs, an ophthalmologist, orthopedic surgeons, pathologists, an otolaryngologist, pediatricians, psychiatrists, pulmonologist, podiatrist, physiatrist, radiologists, sleep medicine physician and general surgeons.
 
GRMC’s consulting staff physicians include cardiologist, oncologists, hematology/oncologists, nephrologists, oculoplastic surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, and radiation oncologists.

Dr. Amos Lash

Gila Regional is a not-for-profit county-owned Planetree hospital which is home to the Surgical Center of the Southwest and Gila Regional Cancer Center.
