Monday, July 28

Vehicle burglary

Someone broke into her husband's work truck.

Welfare check
Gulch Lane
Caller advised they have not heard from her 74-year-old mother-in-law in a couple of days and that is unusual. Deputy had negative contact with anyone in the home and there was no car in the garage.

H.S. Watkins Road
Caller received a call about a water situation from a male who sounded mentally unstable and then disconnected. Called the number back and she could hear yelling. Deputy determined everything is okay.

Fairway Drive
Caller reports golf clubs stolen Friday night at the golf course from the back of her husband's pick up.

Breaking and entering
Old Fort Bayard hospital
Caller advised a possible B&E in progress by three males on the east side of the hospital.

Tuesday, July 29

Burglary
Racetrack Road – Arenas Valley
Caller advised someone broke into the trailer stealing the TV.

Disturbance
Grant County Detention Center
Caller advised he has a couple of pods that are getting ready to riot. Advised city officers to meet at the sally port. Advised to send EMS, Silver City Fire Department and one Bayard unit. Advised to keep onlookers away.

Santa Rita Mine Road
Caller advised she cannot see anything but could hear a lot of yelling coming from inside the trailer.

Harassment
Whispering Hills
Caller advised they received a message saying they were going to be arrested for not paying taxes. Deputy called number and it was a man with an Indian accent who just gave him false names like John Cena.

Domestic disturbance
Santa Rita Mine Road
Caller advised his uncle is threatening him with his life. Deputy had contact with both parties. It was verbal only. Deputy advised both to stay away from each other.

Caller advised a male and female are yelling at each other. Deputy determined everything is OK, negative on a domestic.

Wednesday, July 30

Caller advised a female and 2 males are yelling and the female sounds like they are hurting her.
Caller advised dogs are now barking because she is screaming so loud.

Western Drive
Border Patrol agent accidental discharge of a firearm. Everybody is OK.

Larceny
Rio de Arenas Road
Reference to meter tampering. Deputy could only find an extension cord running from one trailer to another but nothing from the meter.

Caller advised she heard about 5 high-powered gunshots west of her. Deputy went to dead end and had negative contact.

Caller advised he heard a total of about 8 shots possibly coming from the area of Alegre or Cherry streets.

Suspicious vehicle
Rio de Arenas Valley Road
Caller advised a truck with 2 people in it is sitting outside her trailer and she does not know who they are.

Thursday, July 31

Highway 90 – mile marker 22-23
An animal carcass is in the southbound lane.

Caller advised a first-named intoxicated female is in her yard causing problems. Female left prior to deputy's arrival.

Intoxicated driver
Highway 152 – mile marker 5
Deputy requested ambulance for a male who is hypoglycemic and is having slurred speech. Requested lights and siren.

Welfare check
Mahogany Drive – 9 p.m.
Caller requesting a welcheck on her sister who possibly is on meth and not watching her 1- and 4-year-old kids. Deputies made contact and determined everything is OK.

Domestic disturbance
Mahogany Drive (same address as above) – 10 p.m.
Caller advised a first-named subject is going crazy and pulled a knife. Caller advised the subject is high on meth and has possibly left.

Unwanted subject
Truck Bypass Road
Caller advised her neighbor is on her property trying to fight her husband, but he is leaving at this time. Deputy advised to issue an indefinite CTW to neighbor.
