Six projects received USDA RD financial support.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, August 20, 2014 – USDA Rural Development State Director Terry Brunner will participate in five events which will highlight eight projects in the next two days.

The events, meetings and tours will take place in Truth or Consequences and Grant County to obligate new funding or to dedicate projects or to tour construction projects. All projects have all been funded by USDA Rural Development and represent over $11.3-million in financial support provided to upgrade wastewater systems, a community center and to purchase a new street sweeper.

What? Terry Brunner, USDA Rural Development State Director will present a certificate of completion to dedicate the recent completion of construction of the wastewater system in North Hurley, NM.

Where? At the North Hurley Wastewater Treatment Facility at the end of Cottonwood Street North Hurley, NM 88043

What? Terry Brunner, USDA Rural Development State Director will present a certificate of completion to dedicate the recent completion of construction of the Bayard Community Center.

What? Terry Brunner, USDA Rural Development State Director will present a certificate of obligation that will be used to fund the installation of new electronic water meters.

Where? The tour will begin at the Tyrone Community Center immediately after the chat session is completed.
