We had a lot of applicants and it was a hard decision, but a huge welcome to our new thrift store supervisor, Hina Rainbow-Child, who has been volunteering up front for the last few months.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Maine, North Hurley and most recently Chicago, she has a great Christian attitude, is married with one daughter Aria, and enjoys camping, hiking, animals and spending time with her family. We are pleased to have her on staff and look forward to some exciting things in the coming months.

We will be closed today, Sept 1, for the Labor Day holiday, and there will be a board of directors meeting this Tuesday in the Ambank Boardroom. On Friday we will have the County Extension Service starting a nutrition class at 9 am in the soup kitchen, and everyone is welcome to attend.
