Legal Notice - Work Session/Regular Meeting

The Grant County Board of Commissioners will convene in a Work Session on Tuesday,
September 9, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Commissioner Meeting Room at the Grant County Administration Center located at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico.

The tentative agenda is as follows:

II. Pledge of Allegiance & Salute to State Flag
III. Approval of Work Session Agenda
IV. Purpose
The general purpose of the county Work Session is to inform the Grant County Board of Commissioner of the agenda items that will be addressed at the next Regular Meeting, and for the Department Heads and other Elected Officials to communicate with the Commissioners in regard to matters in their respective departments. In accordance with Grant County Resolution No. 14-01, we welcome the public to attend the county Work Session, but there will be no public input permitted at this meeting.
V. Review September 11, 2014, Regular Meeting Agenda
VI. County Reports
VII. Executive Session in accordance with NMSA 1978 10-15-1(H)(7):
• Pending Litigation: Discussion Regarding 2012 Incident at Southwest Solid Waste.

c. Approve/Disapprove revisions to Sheriff's Office Disciplinary Action Policy and Patrol Lieutenant Job Description Policy.
XVI. Resolutions
d. Approve/Disapprove Resolution #R-14-49; Resolution Approving the Sale of Grant County, New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2014, in the Aggregate Principal Amount of $6,505,000.
XVII. Recess as the Grant County Board of Commissioners and Convene as the Grant County indigent and Health Plan Claims Board
e. Approve/Disapprove July 24, 2014, Indigent Burial Certificate for Terrazas Funeral Chapels.
XVIII. Adjourn as the Grant County Indigent and Health Plan Claims Board and Reconvene as the Grant County Board of Commissioners
XIX. County Reports
XX. Recess and Reconvene at the Grant County Detention Facility for annual tour located at 320 Ridge Rd., Silver City, New Mexico.
